Fashion retailer V-Mart Retail said it is set to acquire e-commerce startup LimeRoad for lump sum cash of around ₹31.12 crore. The company, in its regulatory filing, said it plans to invest ₹150 crore to scale and achieve sustained profitability. According to the filings, LimeRoad clocked net revenue of ₹179.95 crore in 2019-2020 which dropped to ₹69 crore in 2021-2022.
