VOC port reports 471.39% rise in cement cargo handling in Q1 FY27

VO Chidambaranar Port recorded 471.39% surge in cement cargo handling, while windmill blade cargo handling grew 106.55%. Oil cake/copra cargo handling increased 51.63%, and edible oil cargo handling registered 12.50% growth. The performance highlights the port's growing role in industrial, agricultural and renewable-energy cargo movement.
