Volcano erupts in Russia after 8.8-magnitude earthquake

The Klyuchevskoy volcano on the Kamchatka peninsula in Russia's far east has started erupting after a 8.8-magnitude earthquake hit the country. The volcano is known to be the tallest active volcano in Eurasia. The Russian Academy of Sciences' United Geophysical Service said, "A descent of burning hot lava is observed on the western slope. Powerful glow above the volcano, explosions."
