Volkswagen Group India said it will merge its three passenger car subsidiaries into one called Skoda Auto Volkswagen India. The merged entities include Volkswagen India, Volkswagen Group Sales India and Skoda Auto India. "The operational launch of Skoda Auto Volkswagen India marks an important milestone in the India 2.0 project," Skoda Auto CEO Bernhard Maier said.
