The voting is underway for the local body elections across 242 municipal councils and 46 nagar panchayats in Maharashtra today (December 2). Over 1.07 crore eligible voters will vote at 13,355 polling stations to decide the fate of 6,859 members and 288 presidents across these local bodies. The results of the elections will be declared on December 3.
