Vice President CP Radhakrishnan expressed condolences after a 26-year-old PhD scholar at Panjab University died after allegedly being electrocuted on a waterlogged road on campus. He directed the university authorities to undertake a comprehensive safety audit of the entire campus to prevent such incidents from recurring. Earlier, university students had staged a protest over the incident.
