Waaree Energy Storage Solutions has raised about ₹1,003 crore in strategic funding to accelerate construction of a 20 GWh lithium-ion cell and battery-pack manufacturing facility in India. The round marks the first tranche of a planned ₹10,000 crore capex push to strengthen domestic energy storage manufacturing.
