Waaree Energies is set to invest ₹8,175 crore to establish India’s largest lithium-ion battery gigafactory in Rambilli, Andhra Pradesh. The 16 GWh facility will cover cell manufacturing, battery packs, and large-scale energy storage, generating around 3,000 direct jobs. The project, approved by the state government, aims to strengthen India’s clean-energy and EV ecosystem.
