The Kolkata Police on Monday arrested Wajahat Khan, who had earlier filed a case against influencer and law student Sharmistha Panoli. Khan, who was booked for hate speech over alleged communal posts on social media, had been absconding since June 1. Police had conducted multiple raids and issued several summons before arresting him.
