Many of us set an alarm to wake up early. However, being jolted awake to the shrill sound is annoying and also poses health risks, a new study reveals. Waking up abruptly to the sound of an alarm can lead to spike in blood pressure and heart rate, potentially increasing the risk of health issues like heart attacks or strokes.
