Bala, a town in north Wales, has renamed itself Bale in honour of Welsh and Real Madrid winger, Gareth Bale. The name will be used for the entire duration of the ongoing Euro Cup, with all road signs around the city sporting the new name. This is the first time that Wales has qualified for the European Championship.
