Walmart is planning to cut around 1,500 jobs as part of a major reshuffle to make its operations more efficient, according to a memo seen by Reuters. Teams in its global technology operations, e-commerce fulfilment in US stores and Walmart Connect will reportedly be affected. "To accelerate our progress...we must sharpen our focus," the memo said.
