Walmart plans to introduce several hundred new roles across US and India, which will also be open to recently laid-off employees, Moneycontrol reported citing an executive. Earlier, Walmart laid off around 1,500 employees globally as part of a broader restructuring. Reportedly, many of those affected by layoffs are employed in firm's Bengaluru and Chennai Global Capability Centres in India.
