Walmart will pay some shoppers in the US and Puerto Rico up to $500 (₹41,650) each as part of a $45 million settlement reached last year over claims that it overcharged them for certain sold-by-weight groceries. The lawsuit alleged that Walmart "falsely inflated" prices of items and mislabeled the weight of bagged produce. "We still deny the allegations," Walmart said.
