Wanted gangster shot in Amritsar police encounter

Wanted gangster Harmanjit Singh, alias Harman Gopa Rai, was shot in the leg during an exchange of fire with Amritsar Police in Matewal village. He had opened fire when signalled to stop, narrowly missing an SHO. A .32-bore pistol and ammunition were recovered. He is wanted for a grenade attack in Gurdaspur.
