War in West Asia hits banana and MSME exports from Andhra, T'gana

The war in West Asia is disrupting shipping routes and starting to affect exports from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, hitting farmers, exporters and MSMEs. Cancelled Gulf orders have forced bananas, mangoes and eggs back into domestic markets, pushing down prices and leaving poultry farmers and exporters facing losses, while rice and shrimp shipments are slowing.
