Two nurses attended on a pregnant woman with severe labour pains and performed the delivery after taking instructions from the duty doctor on phone at the government hospital in Warangal district. The baby died a day later. Dr Manasa Reddy, who was on duty, left the hospital without conducting tests on the woman who was admitted with labour pains.
