Education-focused non-banking financial company (NBFC) Avanse Financial Services has raised $15 million from US' WorldBusiness Capital. The funding came via external commercial borrowing under the US International Development Finance Corporation's women empowerment initiative. In 2019, private equity firm Warburg Pincus took 80% stake in the Mumbai-based NBFC which disburses education loans.
