The United Nations (UN) on Thursday announced that the wartime agreement to allow the shipment of grains from Ukraine to the rest of the world via the Black Sea has been extended. The UN-brokered deal, finalised on July 22, had helped check global food prices amidst the Russia-Ukraine war. The agreement was set to expire on November 19.
