An Uighur woman in China has said she was forced to have an intrauterine device (IUD) fitted despite her insistence that she didn't want any more children. She further said the IUD caused heavy bleeding, and she paid to have it removed illegally. However, when a routine check found it was missing, she was forced to have second device installed.
