Actor Manoj Bajpayee revealed he was offered the role of Chunnilal, played by Jackie Shroff, in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Devdas' because he wanted to play the titular role, played by Shah Rukh Khan. "I told Sanjay, 'I always wanted to play Devdas'," Manoj recalled. "That film became a superhit, but I've regrets about letting it go," he told Sushant Sinha.
