Govvind Namdev recalled how a sadhu scolded him and his friends for playing on the banks of a river in Madhya Pradesh's Sagar. "[He] said, 'I use this water to bathe...shivling'. He asked us never to do that again," he added. Govvind said the sadhu beat him up with a stick after he caught him drinking water from the river.
