Actress Neena Gupta has said that even today, some filmmakers prefer to cast a popular yesteryear actress instead of her. She remembered that once she was offered a film but soon she was replaced by "another actress who was a bigger name in her heydays". Neena had previously admitted that she was jealous of Shabana Azmi in her young days.
