Actress Priyanka Chopra recently recalled being told early in her career that Bollywood could never be as popular as Hollywood cinema because "we're not English-language, and not everybody understands whatever language our movies might be in". She added that she started her production house to support new filmmakers, or filmmakers who have great ideas but lack opportunities to showcase them.
