Wasim Jaffer applies for Team India's chief selector post

Former India opener Wasim Jaffer has applied for the vacant position on the BCCI's men's selection committee. "Yes, I have applied for the job," Jaffer told PTI. The 48-year-old could replace Ajit Agarkar as chief selector if appointed to the panel. However, reports suggest the BCCI prefers retaining interim chairman Pragyan Ojha as the selection committee's full-time chairman.
