Watching less TV may cut heart disease risk, study finds

Watching no more than an hour of TV daily may lower the risk of heart attack and stroke, even in those with high genetic risk for Type 2 diabetes, a study in Journal of the American Heart Association found. Watching two or more hours daily increased heart disease risk by 12%, regardless of genetic predisposition.
