A huge amount of water was seen gushing from the ₹6,700-crore Mumbai–Pune Expressway 'Missing Link' due to landslides just two months after it was inaugurated in May. The Mumbai-bound lane was completely closed after the landslides near the exit of Tunnel 2 on the Pune-to-Mumbai lane. No casualties have been reported, and efforts are underway to open the route.
