Water supply was disrupted on Thursday in several parts of south and central Mumbai due to a major leak in a 1,650-mm-diameter water pipeline, according to Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). Repair work has begun, and due to the scale of the repairs, the water supply will be affected in areas including Lamington Road, Worli, Lower Parel, Girgaon, Byculla and Mazgaon.
