Colombian startup E-Dina has developed a wireless lantern called WaterLight that converts saltwater and urine into electricity. The portable device needs to be filled with 500 milliliters of seawater - or urine in emergency situations - to generate light for 45 days. It is designed to run for 5,600 hours depending on how often it is needed.
