West Bengal CID conducted a raid at Jharkhand MLA Irfan Ansari's residence at Jamtara and seized ₹5 lakh in cash. They also seized the SUV that was earlier used to bring ₹75 lakh in cash from Kolkata. WB Police on July 31 arrested Ansari and two other Congress MLAs after seizing ₹49 lakh in cash from a car.
