West Bengal recently witnessed the inauguration and foundation stone laying of several rail and road projects worth ₹3,250 crore. These projects are expected to strengthen trade and commerce in the state. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said these projects will strengthen freight operations, improve logistics efficiency in North Bengal, and generate employment opportunities in the region.
