West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose on Sunday flagged off the World Athletics Gold Label Race. However, he fired off the starter pistol at face level instead of raising his arm high in the air, causing the people around him to cover and clean their faces. People called the act dangerous and said that it put everybody at risk.
