The West Bengal Transport department has made the registration of e-rickshaws (toto) mandatory and has set a November 30 deadline for it. Under the registration process, which will begin on October 13, all e-rickshaws will be given a digitised temporary toto enrolment number (TTEN). Unregistered e-rickshaws will have to pay ₹1,000 for a six-month temporary authorisation number.
