The Ministry of Women & Child Development held a national consultation on Gender Budgeting at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. Officials from 40 ministries, 19 states & global experts participated. Union Minister Annpurna Devi launched a 'Gender Budgeting Knowledge Hub'. The 2025–26 Gender Budget rose to ₹4.49 lakh crore, reflecting India’s strong commitment to women’s empowerment & inclusive governance.
