YES Bank CEO and MD Prashant Kumar, who joined the bank from State Bank of India, said he believes 50% of ₹40,000 crore of bad loans accumulated can be recovered. He also listed customer engagement, quality of human resources and digital capabilities as the three things that were critical for the bank's turnaround after a moratorium was imposed in March.
