N Ganapathy Subramaniam, the COO of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), said the company "can't have new joinees not seeing a TCS office or interacting with role models as mentors". He said that remote working as the only goal will lead to "a very transactional experience". Notably, only less than 20% of TCS' workforce has reportedly returned to work from office.
