In a leaked internal memo to the staff, Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei claimed the US government doesn't like them because they refuse to give "dictator-style praise" to President Donald Trump. Additionally, he suggested Anthropic received little support because it didn't donate as much money to Trump as Sam Altman's OpenAI did. Amodei also criticised OpenAI's deal with the Pentagon.
