American vehicle manufacturer General Motors said that it has no plans to invest in cryptocurrency Bitcoin. On being asked if the company would accept Bitcoin as payment for vehicles, CEO Mary Barra said, "This is something we'll monitor and we'll evaluate." Barra further said nothing would preclude them from accepting Bitcoin as payments if there's strong consumer demand in future.
