Russian President Vladimir Putin has indicated that he does not want to start a war and is willing to continue discussions amid the ongoing stand-off at the Ukraine border. "We do not want war in Europe," said Putin at a joint conference with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Moscow. "We are ready to go down the negotiations track," he added.
