'Sarzameen' director Kayoze Irani spoke about the logistical issues the cast and crew faced during filming. He revealed that their plan of filming 75% of the film in Manali was thwarted as they faced undesirable weather. He added that they had an earthquake, a snowstorm, and were evacuated and at one point, their equipment was also buried under snow.
