Iran has developed a cruise missile with a range of 1,650 km, top Revolutionary Guards commander, Amirali Hajizadeh, told state TV on Friday. The state media also broadcasted footage showing the new Paveh cruise missile. Iran has expanded its missile programme despite opposition from US and expressions of concern by European countries. Tehran maintains that the programme is purely defensive.
