Delhi Education Minister Ashish Sood on Monday pledged to take action against private schools over fee hikes. He said, "SC passed an order in 2004...that Delhi schools are bound to take permission from Directorate of Education before increasing their fees." He criticised the previous AAP government for ignoring fee hikes and dismissing the order in Delhi High Court in 2024.
