We're open to joining Saudi Arabia-Pakistan-Turkey defence pact: B'desh

Bangladesh is open to joining Saudi Arabia-Pakistan-Turkey defence and economic pact, also known as Mecca Pact, Foreign Affairs Adviser Humayun Kabir said. He cited national interest and changes in the global economy as possible reasons. Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Turkey signed the pact earlier this month, agreeing to consider an armed attack on one as an attack on all.
