Yahoo said it is ready to buy Chrome if the US federal court orders Google to sell the browser as part of its ongoing antitrust trial. Meanwhile, OpenAI and Perplexity have also shown interest in purchasing the browser. The trial comes as Google is accused of illegally maintaining monopolies in online search and digital advertising through Chrome.
