Asia's 20 richest families led by Mukesh Ambani's family jointly control $495 billion wealth, more than the gross domestic product of Hong Kong or Singapore, according to Bloomberg. Ambanis led the list for the third year running with $90.3 billion in wealth. They are followed by Indonesia's Hartono family worth $36.3 billion and India's Mistry family worth $34 billion.
