Wealth of China's richest man tops $50 bn for the first time

China's richest person and Tencent Holdings Chairman Ma Huateng's net worth has surpassed $50 billion, making him the first-ever mainland Chinese individual to achieve this milestone. Huateng is now the world's 14th richest person as well as the wealthiest in Asia, according to Forbes. Recently, Tencent surpassed Facebook to become the world's largest social network company valued at $550 billion.
