Websites block AI agents from performing tasks on their platforms

AI agents from companies like OpenAI, Meta and Google are facing blocks on websites despite being designed to handle tasks such as shopping and booking tickets. Yelp restricts access to agents without data licensing, while Delta, JPMorgan Chase and Charles Schwab have blocked them over various concerns. Earlier, Amazon sued Perplexity over its AI shopping agent.
