Weekend exercise offers big health benefits: Study

A new study published in Circulation shows that “weekend warriors” people who cram their exercise into 1-2 days can get similar health benefits as those who work out regularly. Tracking nearly 90,000 people, researchers found reduced risk for over 200 diseases, including heart disease, diabetes, and obesity. Consistency matters, but intensity-packed weekends still count.
