Congress MP Shashi Tharoor praised India's Permanent Representative to the UN Ruchira Kamboj and Foreign Minister S Jaishankar after India abstained from voting on a resolution brought by the US and Ireland in the UNSC. Saying that he "fully" agreed with the abstention, Tharoor added, "Well done, Dr S Jaishankar." The resolution was to allow humanitarian aid to sanctioned entities.
