At the recently held South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) 2022, Ranveer Singh hailed India's diversity and expressed how language is no more a barrier. The actor said he's grateful that people are rising above subtitles and are accepting "stories from different languages and cultures". Ranveer won the Most Popular Hindi Actor in South India at the event.
